The state of a split mind

The effort to know what drives me to a decision and what's beyond what I might think keeps me at one place for a longer time than I plan. Well of course months passed on and I have not been studying, or gathering information or planning. I had been thinking and I was busy.

So I am back here on this thread and trying to catch up with changes. I know that I've waited almost more than anyone else, and now that its evident as the GRE showed up recently with an announcement of a new exam pattern. With a new scoring system, I believe it changes the game. Maybe for good or bad, I'd soon find out.

The first thing that I started off with is pre-requisites to even think about the exam. Am gathering all the documents that I'd need, and since I'm a very much messed up person in general, it takes me longer time.

I did some reading this week and got to understand self-assessment is where I'll have to begin. And there I am.

Visiting the hall of fame

So with lot of thinking in background, I visited Jamboree Education today. They have gained a pretty good attention here in Bangalore to put up their people in good universities. But they don't necessarily study in the centre I visited. Roopa emphasized on the common strategy they follow for GRE in India and everything you'd typically hear on a first day you visit a centre. A good thing that makes me think is yes, there are people who take the test and get a freaking 1600. Or 1560 and 1520 and 1400s. And walking out of the store, I could see lots of them in picture.

1500s! Gosh.
